In order to be successful in the completion of the tutorials, you will need a few supplies.

There is an option to do a simple drawing of flowers or you can follow further along and actually color the flowers in using watercolor paints.

Sketchbook: There is no right or wrong sketchbook. Depends what you like, if you are feeling fancy then you can get a Moleskine, but there are plenty of other more affordable options if you are just starting out like this one on Amazon .
Pencils: Staedtler Mars pencils have always been my go to and favorite of all time. I have been using them since I went to art school. Some artists love to use a mechanical pencils to have thin and precise line, that is also absolutely up to you and you preference. I’d recommend this one.
Eraser: As a beginner, it is crucial to have a good eraser to remove all of your mistakes. I like to have 2 earsers on me, one kneaded eraser from Faber-Castell and another normal one.
Sharpener: Because if you want to have those fresh and crisp lines, you will need to have your tools sharpened and ready to go. I recommend this one.

Calla Lilly

Are you ready to learn how to draw flowers: this time it will be a Calla Lilly.

Many artists before us have admired such flowers from George O’Keeffe to may many others.

Now it will be your turn when it comes to mastering and drawing flowers. The tutorial will ensure that the flower drawing easy for you.

How to Draw a Calla Lilly

Step 1: Create a rough outline of the flower. It has a teardrop overall shape. Once again, do not forget to mark the middle and the bottom of the flower going down.

Step 2: From the middle mark downwards, start to create a spiral that is swirling and going all the way down. That way you are creating structured petals that are required for this step.

Step 3: Finalise the design, add in the stem, and leaves. Ensure that it is not symmetrical, but much rather has its twists and designs that ensure that your design looks realistic.

Drawing a Calla lily flower from the front is a little bit less complex. Overall, do not forget to mark the middle and follow closely as the petals are showing in the drawing.
