In an interview, the hair and makeup team mentioned that Daphne Bridgerton’s character is inspired by the look of Audrey Hepburn in the movie “War and Peace”, a film made in the 50s.
“At that time of 1810, it was not so common to wear the micro-bangs, but we wanted to give an elegant touch to the character of Daphne, while still losing the innocence that characterizes her.”
